Are you like the majority of the working population... that is you feel stressed at work? Are you the type of person who will carry stress with you when you go back home?
Here are a few tips that will help you go through your stressful days and achieve success, hopefully it can reduce stress on your work place.
1 - If you are the one who makes phone calls at office, pick up the phone and dial the number of the person that you have to call. Take a deep breath and then start talking. It also helps if you can play the conversation in your mind before calling.
2 - Always sit down when you eat, whether it be for lunch or tea time. It is best to relax and have an enjoyable talk time while having lunch. If your colleagues want to talk about the workload during lunch time, you can eat alone.
3 - When going to your office, listen to some cool and relaxing music, it will help you to relax and have a nice day. You may make a list of all your favorite songs, though you should avoid sad songs.
4 - On your way home, again listen to some relaxing and music that you enjoy. It will release stress that has accumulated during the day.
5 - Every day thank god (whichever concept of "god" that you believe in) for the nice day that you had, the nice weather. Do it both in the morning and in the evening, in the evening if it is possible take a few minutes to watch the sunset, it is such a peaceful moment.
6 - You may have some colleagues that you do not quite get along with or who may have hurt you in a way or another. Take a few minutes and think about these people, breath deeply and exhale to push all the tension that surrounds these thoughts. Fill yourself with forgiveness even if it is not easy to do. Negative thoughts are a big source of stress, wish success and happiness for those you do not like as you wish for yourself.
7 - Live every day as if it was your last day. Make every day your best day!
If you use these tips every day, in a few days you will start seeing results and you will start smiling again and spend stress free days.
